Mary Jo directs the theater department at Central College. I made dances for a production of Don Juan, and Return to the Forbidden Planet. We are currently collaborating on the Citizenship Project, a multi-disciplinary experimental class at Central College involving faculty from computer science, political science and theater, culminating in a production using real-time interactive technologies.

After a few years of scrounging rehearsal space wherever we could find it, Betty invited us to hold company (Co'Motion Dance Theater) rehearsals at ISU dance studios. She then invited us to be company in residence so we would have a permanent home for rehearsals. Betty is familiar with my work and with working in the upper Midwest.
