Easy; No partners; Even number of dancers
This Torch Branle is a pretty and very simple dance choreographed by Valerie Williams. It can be done by any even number of dancers. Holding a votive candle in each hand adds to the effect!
Notation:
All facing toward the center of the circle:
d lt, d rt, d lt, d rt
Turning CCW in own circle, S lt, S rt, S lt, S rt
d forward toward the center of the circle, d backward to beginning place.
